Who we are
NZT&T was founded by Joni Walker in 2026 with a goal to improve safety standards, promote ethical business practices and provide education and advocacy for both operators and the public.
NZT&T has access to experts in their fields to provide our members with support and information. We work alongside government transport agencies such as NZ Police & NZTA and proactively lobby for changes in legislation for our industry. Collaboration with key stakeholders such as INSURANCE companies & ROADSIDE providers, as well as feedback from members help to shape and guide further developments.
Industry Code of Conduct
The NZT&T Code of Conduct sets clear expectations for professional conduct, pricing transparency, safety procedures, and customer interaction.
All members are required to:
- Operate lawfully
- Maintain safe equipment
- Treat customers fairly
- Comply with all relevant regulations
