Greg Dearsly Health and Safety Specialist
Greg has spent 25 years of his career dedicated to the development of the health and safety industry and those that work within it. His business provides direction and guidance to industry aimed at being a provider that business goes to for value added assistance. Greg’s extensive experience in the health and safety sector enables him to help organisations build sustainable and valued relationships with their workers and aid in the development of their approach to due diligence, risk management and continual improvement.
Over his career Greg has worked in a range of sectors including waste & recoverable resources, heavy transport, civil construction, plumbing and gasfitting, local and central government and engineering. Greg has also provided guideance and advice to the Waste Management Institute of New Zealand Health and Master Plumbers, Gasfitters and Drainlayers NZ.
Greg holds a graduate diploma in Occupational Safety and Health and a Masters in Advanced Leadership Practices, along with the National Certificate in Adult Education and is an Accredited SafePlus Assessor. He is also a Certified Cultural Intelligence Facilitator and a Life member of the Society of CQ Fellows.
Greg is a past President of the New Zealand Institute of Safety Management and the International Network of Safety and Health Professional Organisations. He is a member of the Institute of Directors and Chair of Samaritans New Zealand.
